Tucker Carlson just let the cat out of the bag about one of Donald Trump’s rivals in 2024

Feb 24, 2023

In many ways Tucker Carlson has become the voice of the conservative populist movement in America.

Tucker Carlson is a straight shooter who is not afraid to speak his mind.

And Tucker Carlson just let the cat out of the bag about one of Donald Trump’s rivals in 2024.

The GOP field is expanding

Former President Donald Trump waited just one week following the disappointing 2022 Midterm elections to announce that he would make a third run for the White House.

Of course, Trump is not running unopposed in the Republican Primary field.

Cranston, Rhode Island Mayor Steve Laffey, former Montana Secretary of State Corey Stapleton, Michigan Businessman Perry Johnson, and anti-woke activist Vivek Ramaswamy are also running for President in the GOP Primary.

And last week, former South Carolina Governor and former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley became the first major Republican to announce her candidacy.

Tucker Carlson exposes Nikki Haley

It didn’t take long for Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson to share his thoughts on Haley with his number-one ranked audience.

On his program, Tucker Carlson Tonight, Carlson compared the former South Carolina Governor to a wealthy leftist donor.

“She may be running to be the Republican nominee, but she is fundamentally indistinguishable from the neo-liberal donor base of the Democratic Party,” Carlson said. “Nikki Haley believes in collective racial guilt. She thinks Ukraine’s borders are more important than our own. Far more important – she believes identity politics is our future. ‘Vote for me because I’m a woman,’ she says. That’s her pitch.”

Don Lemon’s real mistake

Carlson then turned to CNN’s Don Lemon, who was temporarily put on leave from the network’s morning show and now has to undergo sensitivity training for saying that Haley was past her prime.

Carlson rightly pointed out that so-called “journalists” frequently say far worse things about conservative women like Sarah Palin, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Lauren Boebert.

Not only do they get away with it, but they also get praised for it.

But going negative against, as Carlson put it, “a white liberal woman,” is a big no-no.

“He stepped in it — but to be fair to Don Lemon, Nikki Haley seemed like perfectly fair game,” Carlson said. “She’s a Republican Presidential candidate, so savage her all you want. Oh, but no, because in fact, in all the ways that matter, Nikki Haley is a member in good standing of the most protected class of all – upper-income liberal white ladies with fashionable political views.”
