One thing President Trump showed the American people is that the Deep State is real – and real dangerous.
Now we are finding out just how long they’ve been interfering in the American government.
And Tucker Carlson just took on the entire Deep State by accusing them of removing these two U.S. Presidents.
The news that Joe Biden took home classified documents as Senator and Vice President shook up the political landscape.
Tucker Carlson joined most Americans in believing Biden is alone responsible for this crime.
The fact is, over the years, Joe Biden took home classified documents and stored them in a garage, in a private office, and who knows where else.
An FBI double standard brought to light
When rumors circulated that President Donald Trump may have classified documents at his private Florida residence, the FBI launched a SWAT-style raid covered breathlessly by the media.
When Joe Biden admitted he had stolen classified documents at his home, the FBI sat by for months before doing a “soft search.”
The news of the document breach by Biden completely took away coverage of the deadly crisis at the border.
Tucker Carlson thinks he knows why.
As Carlson said, Biden alone is responsible for the classified documents.
“He didn’t have help in doing that, but allowing the country to be invaded, that’s not something you can do by yourself. So, if Biden were to be taken down for opening the southern border, a lot of other people would go with them. He had a lot of accomplices. Permanent Washington doesn’t want that and ultimately and here’s the point: Permanent Washington is in charge,” Carlson said.
He was the most popular President in U.S. history
Carlson then switched gears to talk about the Deep State and what they’ve been doing for decades.
According to Carlson, there is a very clear blueprint of how the American government actually works at the highest levels.
As Carlson put it, “. . . one thing you should know is that the most popular President in American history was Richard Nixon. Richard Nixon.”
The Fox News host continued, “Yet somehow, without a single vote being cast by a single American voter, Richard Nixon was kicked out of office and replaced by the only unelected President in American history. So, we went from the most popular President to a President nobody voted for.”
Carlson then pointed out Nixon was reelected in 1972 by the largest margin of popular vote ever recorded before or since.
But the Deep State would have its way, as Carlson said, “Nixon got 17 million more votes than his opponent. Less than two years later, he was gone. He was forced to resign and in his place, an obedient servant of the federal agencies called Gerald Ford took over the White House.”
The fact is, Nixon believed that there were elements in the federal bureaucracy working to undermine the American system of government.
“I know who shot John”
Nixon firmly believed the Deep State had been undermining the government for a long time.
He said so on many occasions.
We, of course, know now Nixon was absolutely right.
As Carlson pointed out, “On June 23, 1972, Nixon met with the then–CIA director, Richard Helms, at the White House. During the conversation, which thankfully was tape-recorded, Nixon suggested he knew ‘who shot John,’ meaning President John F. Kennedy. Nixon further implied that the CIA was directly involved in Kennedy’s assassination, which we now know it was.”
“But it turned out Nixon’s fears didn’t matter. Four days before, on June 19, The Washington Post had published the first of many stories about a break-in at the Watergate office building,” Carlson continued.
Not known to Nixon, and left unreported by The Washington Post, or any subsequent media was that four of the five Watergate burglars worked for the CIA.
Who exactly was Bob Woodward?
Carlson explained further, “The first of many dishonest Watergate stories was written by a 29-year-old metro reporter called Bob Woodward. Who exactly was Bob Woodward? Well, he wasn’t a journalist. Bob Woodward had no background whatsoever in the news business. Instead, Bob Woodward came directly from the classified areas of the federal government. Shortly before Watergate, Woodward was a naval officer at the Pentagon.”
Tucker Carlson is exactly right about Woodward’s background, he had a top-secret clearance and worked regularly with U.S. intelligence agencies and was even assigned to the White House.
Then, after leaving the Navy, Woodward was magically hired by the most powerful news outlet in Washington, D.C. at the time.
Then, without any reasoning Woodward got assigned the biggest story in the nation.
The CIA, the FBI, and a coup
And Carlson laid out even more of the plot, “. . . Woodward’s main source for his Watergate series was the deputy director of the FBI, Mark Felt, and Mark Felt ran — and we’re not making this up — the FBI’s COINTELPRO program, which was designed to secretly discredit political actors, the federal agencies wanted to destroy — people like Richard Nixon.”
But that’s not all.
Carlson continued, “And at the same time, those same agencies were also working to take down Nixon’s elected Vice President, Spiro Agnew. In the fall of 1973, Agnew was indicted for tax evasion and forced to resign. His replacement was a colorless congressman from Grand Rapids called Gerald Ford.”
Tucker then asked the question anyone following politics in 1974 wanted to know, “What was Ford’s qualification for the job?”
It turned out Ford’s biggest claim to fame was that he served on the Warren Commission, which had absolved the CIA of responsibility for JFK’s murder.
Ford’s lack of credentials didn’t matter to the Deep State and Nixon was forced into accepting him – by Democrats, no less!
In fact, then House Speaker and Democrat leader Carl Albert actually bragged, “We gave Nixon no choice but Ford.”
Eight months later, Gerald Ford was President of the United States.
“We’ve got to get Trump”
This is exactly the kind of operation the Deep State tried to run against President Trump and his people.
And the first person in the Trump administration the Deep State agencies went after was General Michael Flynn.
“Why Flynn?” Carlson asked.
“Because Mike Flynn was a career Army intel officer who ran the Defense Intelligence Agency. In other words, Mike Flynn knew exactly how the system worked, and as a result, he was capable of fighting back. Four days after Donald Trump’s inauguration, the FBI lured Mike Flynn into a meeting without his lawyer, concocted a series of fake crimes and forced him to resign,” Carlson said.
Now, worried about the 2024 elections, and a President who is slipping further and further into mental incompetency, the Deep State has decided to take out Joe Biden too.
