You won’t believe which Democrat beats Donald Trump

Democrats are evaluating their options in the Presidential race.

Party leaders want Joe Biden gone.

And you won’t believe which Democrat beats Donald Trump.

Poll shows Hillary Clinton is the strongest Democrat to run against Donald Trump

Democrats need to answer two questions.

Can they force Joe Biden out of the Presidential race?

And who will take his spot atop the ticket?

A Miami-based pollster named Fernand Amandi, who advised both of Barack Obama’s Presidential campaigns, sought to try and answer those questions.

Amandi conducted the poll on behalf of his firm, Bendixen & Amandi, and found that just 33 percent of likely voters think Biden should remain the Democrat nominee, whereas 52 percent want him replaced.

The poll found that Kamala Harris led Trump by one point.

But of all the Democrats tested, Hillary Clinton actually beat Trump by the biggest margin.

“Vice President Kamala Harris is now running ahead of Trump, 42 percent to 41 percent, the survey found. And former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the 2016 nominee who is not being seriously discussed as a candidate by voters anxious about Biden’s chances, is slightly ahead of Harris. Clinton leads Trump 43 percent to 41 percent,” POLITICO reports.

The poll also showed a ticket with Hillary and the nominee and Kamala Harris remaining as Vice President would lead Trump by three points.

“The poll also tested other potential Democratic tickets — and found one headed up by Clinton, with Harris staying on as her vice presidential nominee, in the strongest position. Clinton-Harris is beating Trump 43 percent to 40 percent, a four-point advantage over Biden-Harris,” POLITICO reported.

Amandi found the results stunning.

“I’m really surprised by Hillary’s strength,” Amandi told POLITICO

“While some dismiss her as yesterday’s news and a candidate of the past, voters at least in this poll suggest they may be open to a Clinton comeback and that a ticket with Clinton as President and Harris as Vice President is even ‘stronger together,’” Amandi added.

The poll also tested other Democrats against Trump and found two of the most talked about choices – California Governor Gavin Newsom and Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer – both losing to Trump.

“California Gov. Gavin Newsom is running behind Trump, 37 percent to 40 percent and Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is just a bit further behind the former president, 36 percent to 40 percent,” POLITICO also reports.

Poll doesn’t match other results

This survey is a clear outlier and Trump’s vote share sitting at 40 percent is a giant red flag.

The Biden campaign’s own internal polling also proves that, as their data finds Harris trailing Trump by the same three-point margin as Biden.

“Internal polling shared by the Biden campaign after the debate shows Harris with the same odds as Biden of beating Trump, with 45% of voters saying they would vote for her versus 48% for Trump,” Reuters reported.

CNN also tested Harris, Whitmer, Newson, and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg against Trump, and Trump beat them all.

Hillary Clinton also isn’t going to be the Democrat nominee for President.

If Democrats do dump Biden, it will be virtually impossible to skip over Harris when black women are the party’s most loyal voting bloc.
