Alvin Bragg was grinning from ear to ear after the judge made this ugly threat to Trump

May 9, 2024

Alvin Bragg’s witch hunt against Donald Trump took a shocking turn.

Bragg is about to get exactly what he’s asking for.

And Alvin Bragg was grinning from ear to ear after the judge made this ugly threat to Trump.

Judge threatens to jail Trump on contempt charges

Democrat Judge Juan Merchan threatened to throw Donald Trump in jail.

Merchan cited Trump’s 10th violation of the unconstitutional gag order he imposed on him at the start of this sham trial as what pushed him to consider incarceration.

“It appears that the $1,000 fines are not serving as a deterrent. Going forward, this court will have to consider a jail sanction,” Merchan stated.

Merchan – the highly political Democrat judge who is running this kangaroo court –  feigned concern over what jailing Trump would do to the country.

“It’s important to understand that the last thing I want to do is to put you in jail. You are a former President of the United States and possibly a future President, as well. There are many reasons why incarceration is truly a last step for me,” Merchan added.

Trump responds

The Democrat Party is putting Trump on trial.

Merchan is a Democrat who donated to Joe Biden’s 2020 campaign.

Alvin Bragg won the election as Manhattan District Attorney on the promise to indict Trump.

And Bragg’s lead prosecutor on the case – Matthew Colangelo – worked in the Biden Justice Department and got paid by the Democratic National Committee for political consulting work.

Speaking to reporters after court concluded, Trump slammed the case as a political hit orchestrated by the Biden administration.

“Anybody in there would realize there’s no case. They don’t have a case. Every legal scholar says they don’t have a case. This is just a political witch hunt. It’s election interfering — and this is really truly election interference and it’s a disgrace. It’s a disgrace, and in every poll I’m leading by a lot,” Trump declared.

Trump also blasted the gag order as limiting the speech of a Presidential candidate.

Witnesses aren’t gagged, and Michael Cohen has used the trial to raise money and attack Trump politically.

Trump also can’t tell Americans about Colangelo’s work for Biden and the Democratic National Committee.

“It’s a disgrace, and then you have the other thing that maybe is even more of a disgrace was the gag order, where I can’t, basically I have to watch every word I tell you people. You ask me a question, a simple question, I’d like to give it, but I can’t talk about it because this judge has given me a gag order, and said you’ll go to jail if you violate it,” Trump added.

Trump told reporters he had no fear of going to jail and that he’d be willing to make that “sacrifice” in order to stand up to this unprecedented abuse of the Constitution.

“Frankly, our Constitution is much more important than jail,” Trump concluded. “It’s not even close. I’ll do that sacrifice any day.”
