Alvin Bragg blew a gasket after he got this crushing news about jailing Donald Trump

The goal of the Democrat witch hunts against Donald Trump is to put him behind bars.

But one dirty trick in his criminal trial is about to collapse.

And Alvin Bragg blew a gasket after he got this crushing news about jailing Donald Trump.

Democrat prosecutors are trying to muzzle Donald Trump with gag orders

The criminal case brought by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg against former President Donald Trump is trying to unconstitutionally limit his speech and set a trap for the Democrat judge to throw him in jail.

Judge Juan Merchan – a donor to President Joe Biden – issued a gag order that blocks the former President from making public statements about witnesses, court staff, prosecutors, jurors, or their families.

Trump has correctly pointed out that Merchan’s daughter works for a top Democrat political consulting firm that has clients like Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA).

The gag order unconstitutionally limits Trump’s First Amendment right to comment on a politically motivated trial designed to impact the Presidential election.

Bragg is asking that Merchan throw Trump in jail for 30 days for violating the gag order by attacking Stormy Daniels and his former lawyer Michael Cohen, who could both be called as witnesses.

Despite the clearly biased judge in the case, one legal expert explained why jailing Trump for violating the gag order isn’t likely to happen.

Former Justice Department gives Bragg a reality check about jailing Trump

Former Deputy Assistant Attorney General Tom Dupree appeared on CNN’s The Lead With Jake Tapper to give Democrats some bad news about their dreams of jailing Trump for violating Judge Merchan’s gag order.

He said that even if the judge concludes that Trump violated the gag order, it’s highly unlikely that he’ll be jailed as punishment.

“The judge has specified lists basically, of people who are possible targets for insult and people who are off limits and the prosecutors say, Trump has just run roughshod over those limits,” Dupree explained. “I think the judge is going to take the prosecutors’ allegations pretty seriously. The prosecutors have put forward a bunch of tweets, some that Trump originally posted himself, some that he reposted from others that prosecutors say violated the gag order.”

Dupree said that the judge wants to enforce the gag order because he believes it’s necessary to protect the integrity of the trial.

He added that a fine is the most Trump might face as a potential punishment.

“I don‘t think he’s going to go so far as to try to throw Trump in jail or anything like that,” Dupree said. “He may have stern language, he may have a warning, he may impose a nominal fine, but I think you‘ll make it clear to former President Trump that if this behavior continues, then he’s going to up the punishment.”

Trump’s legal team is appealing the gag order that Merchan imposed on him.

The unconstitutional gag order is another component of the politically motivated prosecution of Trump that is designed to keep him from defending himself in the court of public opinion.

Alvin Bragg won’t be able to count on this to complete his mission to send the former President to jail before the 2024 election.
