The Democrat Party and their media allies have long been in bed together.
However, the more the corporate-controlled media pushes for a woke agenda, the more obvious the relationship becomes.
And now Donald Trump can’t stop laughing at his media enemies’ pathetic showing in this new survey.
Collusion between Democrats and the press who cover for them
The supposed “mainstream media” has always been biased – even back in the day of the now-erroneously sainted Walter Cronkite.
But they’ve progressively grown worse over the years, especially once Donald Trump was elected as President of the United States.
The media industrial complex treated Donald Trump’s 2016 run for the White House like a joke.
They were shocked into near silence on election night that year when Trump trounced Hillary Clinton in the Electoral College to become the 45th President of the United States.
They spent the next four years attacking Trump, reporting on fake stories, and fanning the flames of a witch hunt against the President.
They did everything within their power to make sure there wouldn’t be a second term of the Trump Administration.
And even after he left office, the corporate-controlled media has been on a virtually non-stop campaign to make sure Trump doesn’t run again in 2024.
They even prop up and lie for the Biden Administration and spin the facts to make Republicans look bad on a daily basis.
Trump vs. the Fake News Media
To his credit, and unlike George W. Bush before him, Trump hit back, not afraid to point out the bias and lies of the “Fake News.”
The media was frequently a target of the verbal jabs from the 45th President of the United States, especially at his well-attended rallies, where he would never forget to point them out in the back of the room.
“There is great anger in our Country caused in part by inaccurate, and even fraudulent, reporting of the news,” Trump said. “The Fake News Media, the true Enemy of the People, must stop the open and obvious hostility, and report the news accurately and fairly.”
And because of Trump’s willingness to take on the woke corporations that control the ink and airwaves – along with their respective figureheads – more Americans started to finally take notice.
Now journalists are ranking at an all-time low.
The most untrusted name in news
The Edelman Trust Barometer is now showing more than two-thirds of Americans believe so-called “journalists” are “purposely trying to mislead people by saying things they know are false or gross exaggerations.”
That was the worst showing of all the groups presented in the survey – even one point worse than government leaders.
Things are just getting worse for the media, as the numbers show they have lost 8 points of trust in the past year alone.
Additionally, three-quarters of respondents believe fake news is being weaponized.
Another 46% said the corporate-controlled media is deliberately trying to divide the country – while only 35% consider them to be a “unifying force.”
