The network has turned both Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis into cartoon villains.
And this unhinged leftist’s sickening Trump-DeSantis fantasy will leave you speechless.
Former President Donald Trump attempted to clear the field for 2024 by announcing his candidacy for President almost immediately after the 2022 Midterms ended.
But Trump will have a more contentious primary fight than he did in 2020, when Never-Trump Republican Joe Walsh was dead on arrival.
Trump’s biggest challenger will likely be Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who has no incentive to announce this early.
And the so-called “mainstream” media cannot decide which candidate to make into a bigger boogeyman.
The corporate-controlled press is attempting to thread the needle by which they can somehow claim Trump was the worst human of all-time, but DeSantis is somehow worse.
It’s a tough sell after the last six years of full-on Trump Derangement Syndrome.
And as MSNBC’s Mehdi Hasan and TDS-riddled guest Wajahat Ali were attempting to decide who was the bigger threat, Ali argued that it’s still Trump until DeSantis takes him out like Brutus did Julius Caesar.
“Well, let’s talk about 2023,” Hasan asked. “On the one hand, as you say, [Trump] is certainly not going to be in prison even if he is indicted — that trial will take a fair amount of time, whether he ever goes to prison is an open question.”
“Politically, is he a weaker man?” he continued. “Is he a more damaged political brand? Is he facing challenges from a Ron DeSantis, or any other Republican who fancies their chances against him in a primary? Given he’s clearly not the candidate that he was in 2016, or even 2020.”
“He is the weakened Golden Calf of MAGA, for sure,” Ali responded. “But, you and I have had this conversation before. And, you know, everyone was promoting Ron DeSantis. Especially Republicans, especially Republican donors. They’re trying to make Ron DeSantis into a thing! And MAGA just isn’t into him.”
“If you look at the latest polls, guess who’s the king of MAGA? Guess who they overwhelmingly still support as the leader, and the presidential candidate for the Republican party in 2024?” he added. “Donald Trump. So I’ll believe it when I see it, right? I’ll believe it when Brutus actually takes out Julius Caesar.”
