Megyn Kelly admitted that Donald Trump won’t forgive her for this nasty fight

Megyn Kelly and Donald Trump have been at odds since the 2016 election.

But it doesn’t seem like they will bury the hatchet anytime soon.

And now Megyn Kelly admitted that Donald Trump won’t forgive her for this nasty fight.

Megyn Kelly discusses most recent Trump interview

Donald Trump famously boycotted Fox News for a brief period of time in 2015 following Megyn Kelly’s performance as a moderator at the first GOP Presidential Primary debate.

Kelly thought their relationship was on the mend when Trump sat for an interview with her last September.

But Kelly realized how wrong she was.

Newsmax’s Eric Bolling quizzed Kelly about the status of her relationship with Trump.

“I know you’ve interviewed him before quite a bit. Have you had him on recently? Would you like to have him on again?” Bolling asked.

Kelly said she interviewed Trump last fall, but he wasn’t happy with her questions about the hoax criminal cases that Democrat prosecutors brought against him to influence the election.

“So I had him on in September and I don’t know that he loved that interview,” Kelly began.

Kelly also hinted that Trump is still mad about their feud from the 2016 campaign.

“There was a contentious part about the criminal cases, and there were lovely parts too, you know, but Trump, he kind of wants it all to be lovely. He doesn’t want any contention, even though that works, you know, in terms of getting eyeballs to the interview, which is what he really likes. And since then he, I don’t know, he’s kind of gone on the attack against me a couple times publicly. He’s still really mad about that debate question, so not sure he’s gonna come on anytime soon,” Kelly added.

“Still?” Bolling asked.

“I think so,” Kelly answered. “He brings it up a lot.”

“He does have a long memory when it comes to those things,” Bolling replied.

Trump needles Kelly about 2016 debate

Trump – as well as many of his supporters – felt that Fox News executives Roger Ailes and Rupert Murdoch ordered Kelly to take down Trump at the debate.

Kelly started the event by asking Trump about comments that he made about women in the past, a question he saw as a “gotcha” personal attack.

The two discussed the dust-up in the September interview, with Trump calling the question “nasty.”

Kelly responded by telling Trump she thought he handled the question well by joking that he was only referring to his nemesis Rosie O’Donnell.

“It was awesome!” Kelly responded.

Trump clearly didn’t agree and wasn’t eager to dwell on the matter.

He said no matter what answer he gave, the headline would always be about the question and frame him as a sexist.

“No, I got a little bit lucky. I came up with a good answer,” Trump stated. “But there are questions that you can ask that no matter who it is, the answer is never a great answer. You know, there’s never a great answer to certain questions. And I can give you ten of those questions right now. I just don’t want to.”

Trump loves doing interviews and interacting with the press.

But it doesn’t seem like another interview with Megyn Kelly is in the offing.
