Unity is always the Democrat Party’s number one strength.
But there are cracks in the foundation appearing as Joe Biden’s political prospects grow more dire.
And Nancy Pelosi snapped and accused one ally of this unspeakable crime.
Pelosi cracks under pressure
Polls from Bloomberg/Morning Consult and Emerson/The Hill showed Donald Trump leading Joe Biden in all seven swing states.
CNN’s latest survey found Trump holding a six-point advantage over Biden nationally.
Since there are just six months until the General Election, it’s getting to crunch time.
Trump’s lead and the dwindling calendar only served to increase the sense of panic among Democrats who spent the last four years telling themselves that he was unelectable.
These frustrations boiled over in an interview by left-wing MSNBC activist Katy Tur with Nancy Pelosi.
Every poll shows Donald Trump holding a massive lead over Biden on the issue of the economy.
Pelosi claimed some voters were irredeemable racists, but that she understood Americans had concerns about open borders, inflation, and globalization.
“I have sympathy and respect for everybody who votes,” Pelosi stated. “I’m just glad people vote. I know some of them would never – will always reject those of us who might look different to them in leadership or the rest, and that’s that, but there are those who have real legitimate concerns about immigration, globalization, innovation, and what does that mean for their job and their family’s future, and we have to address those concerns, and Joe Biden is doing that.”
But Pelosi tried to argue that Biden was better positioned to address these issues because he “created 9 million jobs in his term in office. Donald Trump has the worst record of job loss of any President, so we just have to make sure people know.”
Pelosi calls MSNBC host a ‘Trump apologist’
This argument was too much even for a radical leftist like Tur, who tried to add content to Pelosi’s claim that Trump was a terrible President for jobs.
“That was a global pandemic,” Tur responded, noting that the job losses were due to the lockdowns.
That set off Pelosi, and she accused Tur of being a Trump “apologist.”
“He had the worst record of any President. We’ve had other concerns in our country. If you want to be an apologist for Donald Trump, that may be your role, but it ain’t mine,” Pelosi snapped at Tur.
Tur defended her left-wing credentials.
“I don’t think that anybody can accuse me of that,” Tur replied.
Pelosi accidentally explains why Biden is losing
In trying to make the case for Biden on the economy, Pelosi accidentally showed why voters recognize Trump as the superior President on handling the economy.
Pelosi claimed Biden’s policies were best for the economy, as evidenced by the $3 trillion in socialist spending that Biden signed into law.
“No, but let me just say, as the Speaker of the House, we put forth a $3 trillion bill, $3 trillion of investment in communities and the rest, and that stimulates the economy,” Pelosi declared.
But it was this spending spree that caused inflation to surge to a 40-year high of nine percent in 2022.
Inflation is still running hot, with just under four percent year-over-year growth.
Prices are also up over 19 percent in total since Biden took office.
The last inflation report of the Trump Presidency showed it under the two percent goal at 1.4 percent.
The inflation crisis was a fiasco of Joe Biden’s own making, and Nancy Pelosi inadvertently explained why that is the case.
