The American Red Cross is one of the oldest and most recognizable charities in the country.
A bombshell report from the Daily Caller News Foundation found that the Red Cross is aiding and abetting the border crisis.
The Red Cross is producing pamphlets available in Mexico that act as a “how to” guide for illegal aliens on crossing the border.
The pamphlets, marked with the Red Cross logo, contain maps and information like how to survive in the desert and how to jump on trains.
It provides a list of resources available – including shelters, hotels, and medical clinics – to illegal aliens on their trip to the border.
The map contains routes to major border cities in the United States that are popular destinations for illegal aliens.
While the Red Cross is passing out “how to” guides for breaking into the country, the charity is also in charge of doling out taxpayer money from the federal government to illegal aliens.
The American Red Cross is on the board of the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) Food and Shelter Program.
Homeland Security gave the FEMA program $350 million in February to provide aid to illegal aliens in the United States.
The Red Cross, along with other nonprofits on the board, help direct some of the millions in taxpayer money to provide resources for illegal aliens once they make it into the United States.
The Red Cross is encouraging illegal immigration while also spending taxpayer money to provide assistance to them once they make it across the border.
It’s unclear whether federal funding is being used by the Red Cross to create the pamphlets.
House Republicans call on Merrick Garland to investigate the Red Cross
A pair of House Republicans are calling on the Department of Justice to open an investigation into the Red Cross over the pamphlets it’s providing illegal aliens.
Representatives Lance Gooden (R-TX) and Tom Tiffany (R-WI) wrote Attorney General Merrick Garland to demand he take action.
“Like many Americans, we were shocked but not surprised by recent news reports that the American Red Cross is producing what appear to be ‘how to’ manuals for migrants seeking to illegally enter the United States,” the Republicans wrote Garland.
The Congressmen said the guides could be breaking a federal law that makes it a crime to encourage or help illegal aliens enter the country.
“Given that the distribution of these guides would seem to do exactly that, we hope the Justice Department will initiate an investigation into this matter to determine whether the American Red Cross has broken federal statute,” they wrote.
Nonprofits like the Red Cross are quietly playing a role in fueling the surge of illegal immigration created by Joe Biden.
