Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA) betrayed conservatives by bringing up a package of bills to give away nearly $100 billion in taxpayer money that the country doesn’t have to foreign countries without securing a dime for border security.
President Joe Biden and the Democrats were handed a major victory by House RINOs who saw Ukraine receive another $61 billion and $9 billion in humanitarian aid for Palestine that will almost certainly end up in the hands of Hamas.
Not only did Johnson not get any money to secure the border, but the package also included $4 billion in “migration and refugee assistance” for nonprofits that are assisting illegal aliens pouring into the country at the border.
RINO lashes out at conservative during CNN appearance
Representative Tony Gonzales (R-TX) went on CNN to defend his vote for the Democrat-supported foreign aid bills.
After selling out conservatives to back Biden’s 2022 gun control bill, the Safer Communities Act, he earned a Primary challenge from popular gun YouTuber Brandon Herrera.
Herrera forced him into a runoff election on May 28 after holding him under 50% of the vote in the Primary.
Instead of appealing to conservatives, Gonzales went on an unhinged tirade against them on a left-wing cable news network.
He used a question about Speaker Johnson surviving the controversial vote by CNN host Dana Bash to smear his conservative colleagues.
“You voted yes on the foreign aid package. Do you have confidence that at this point, given that it is still possible that Marjorie Taylor Greene will push to vacate — to kick him out — of the Speaker’s chair that he can survive?” Bash asked.
“He will survive. Look, the House is a rough and rowdy place, but Mike Johnson is gonna be just fine. I served 20 years in the military. It‘s my absolute honor to be in Congress, but I serve with some real scumbags,” Gonzales ranted.
Gonzales falsely accused conservative stalwarts, Representatives Matt Gaetz (R-FL) and Bob Good (R-VA), of being KKK members and used a flat-out lie to smear Gaetz.
“Look, Matt Gaetz — he paid minors to have sex with them at drug parties. Bob Good endorsed my opponent, a known neo-Nazi. These people used to walk around with white hoods at night, now they‘re walking around with white hoods in the daytime. What didn‘t surprise me [is] that some of these folks voted against aid to Israel, but I was encouraged to see by a nearly 10 to one mark that Republicans supported our allies on the battlefield,” Gonzales raved.
So outrageous was Gonzales’ false accusation against Gaetz that Bash had to point out to the audience that it wasn’t true.
“Wow, okay. I should say that the federal government did look into Matt Gaetz and those allegations and they decided not to prosecute,” Bash stated.
Gonzales slandered Herrera with a completely baseless lie.
