Nikki Haley was furious when a GOP donor dropped this lyric from Kenny Rogers’ The Gambler

Nikki Haley’s flailing Presidential campaign is moving forward after two crushing defeats.

No one is quite sure why she’s staying in the race.

And Nikki Haley was furious when a GOP donor dropped this lyric from Kenny Rogers’ The Gambler.

New Hampshire was the make-or-break state for former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley.

The state’s Primary was her best chance to get a victory over former President Donald Trump and gain some momentum in the GOP race.

New Hampshire has a large number of Independent voters, Democrats who switched Party affiliation, and moderate New England Republicans.

Haley crisscrossed the state with popular RINO New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu – who endorsed her – campaigning by her side.

Her campaign and her allies like the Koch-funded Americans for Prosperity outspent Trump by a two-to-one margin in New Hampshire.

Despite some polls showing her closing in on Trump at the end, she still lost the New Hampshire Primary by 11 points.

But the disappointing loss was not the end of her longshot campaign for the Republican nomination.

During an upbeat speech to supporters after her loss in New Hampshire, Haley said that her campaign was moving on to her home state of South Carolina.

“I have news for all of them. New Hampshire is first in the nation. It is not the last,” Haley said to cheers. “This race is far from over. There are dozens of states left to go, and the next one is my sweet state of South Carolina.”

Many of her major donors and supporters told her to give up after she went all-in on New Hampshire and came up short.

GOP megadonor quotes Kenny Rogers and tells Nikki Haley to know when to walk away

Sabin Metals Chairman of the Board Andy Sabin quoted a line from the late country star Kenny Rogers’ song The Gambler during an appearance on Fox News.

He said that the former South Carolina Governor needed to listen to Rogers and “know when to walk away” after losing New Hampshire.

Sabin had previously called New Hampshire “Custer’s Last Stand” for Haley.

“Do you know Kenny Rogers? — ‘You have to know when to hold ’em, you’ve got to know when to fold them. You gotta know when to walk away’ — it’s time for Nikki Haley to walk away,” Sabin said.

He said there was no point in moving forward with her campaign to her home state of South Carolina.

“She’s down by 31 points now [in South Carolina]… She’s got two Senators and a Governor supporting Trump [there],” Sabin said.

South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster and South Carolina Senators Lindsey Graham and Tim Scott have all endorsed Trump.

Polling out of South Carolina shows that she is set to receive a drubbing in her home state’s Primary.

Sabin added that he would be the first person to back Haley if she ran for President in 2028, but admitted that 2024 wasn’t happening for her.

Haley trails Trump by at least 30 points in polling in every upcoming state in the Primary.

She is the Republican establishment’s candidate in the GOP Presidential race.

If they are beginning to cut their losses, then her campaign is on life support.
