Donald Trump mended one fence that spells big trouble for Joe Biden

Republicans need a united effort to win back the White House.

The hatchet is being buried from the Primary.

And Donald Trump mended one fence that spells big trouble for Joe Biden.

Former President Donald Trump and the Club for Growth – a powerful conservative free-market PAC – have had a complicated relationship.

The Club appeared to be searching for another candidate to back besides the former President during the GOP Presidential Primary.

The group had endorsed Florida Governor Ron DeSantis during his Congressional career, which led to speculation that they could get behind his Presidential campaign.

The group never endorsed a candidate during the GOP Primary, but it spent money attacking the former President during the race last year.

The Club for Growth and Trump have also clashed over past Primary endorsements in House and Senate races.

Trump worked with the Club for Growth during his first term in office, and it appeared their relationship could be over.

Donald Trump says he and the Club for Growth are “back in love”

Trump spoke at the Club for Growth’s annual economic retreat in Palm Beach, Florida.

The Washington Examiner reported that Trump said during his speech, “Now we’re back in love; we’re in deep, deep love.”

“Every once in a while, we have an argument. It’s always about who to endorse,” Trump said.

He told the crowd that he and the Club had broken up over endorsements for about a year.

The Club for Growth is the biggest spender of any conservative outside group and one of the biggest on the Republican side.

They routinely spend tens of millions of dollars supporting Republican candidates each election cycle.

Club for Growth President David McIntosh and Trump had dinner at Mar-a-Lago in early February to bury the hatchet.

McIntosh also traveled with Trump to South Carolina before the state’s Presidential Primary.

Trump and the Club for Growth reuniting is good news for Republicans heading into November’s election.

The group could deploy its vast resources to help Trump retake the White House from President Joe Biden.

Club for Growth ready to work with Trump for victory in November

McIntosh released a statement after Trump spoke at the group’s retreat and confirmed that fences were mended.

“We need to grow our majority in the House and reclaim the majority in the Senate. We need to restore the American dream, and the only way we can do that is by working together,” McIntosh said. “President Trump always says, ‘When Trump and the Club for Growth PAC are together, we always win.’ And together, we are going to win back the White House and more this November.”

The GOP needs to be firing on all cylinders to hold the House, flip the Senate, and beat Joe Biden this November.
