And Kevin McCarthy just gave Tucker Carlson some never-before-seen footage that has Democrats panicking.
Nancy Pelosi’s Select Committee was supposed to be investigating the events of January 6, 2021.
Nothing but a never-Trump three ring circus
Of course, Pelosi’s Committee was a total sham, as Republicans were not allowed to choose their own Party’s members.
Instead, Nancy Pelosi installed never-Trumpers Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger to the panel.
But the only investigating they did was to see how interested the American people were in their little show trial.
The Committee ignored credible evidence that the FBI and their assets may have been involved in the events of that day.
They also ignored key facts like Pelosi refusing Trump’s request for extra police and National Guard protection.
41,000 hours of footage
The radical Left has become so hellbent on destroying our republic that they ignore the truth and make up stories about insurrections and revolutions that did not occur.
But that will soon change now that new House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) made good on his promise to release the footage from the Capitol on January 6.
MaCarthy released 41,000 hours of never-before-seen footage to Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson.
While it will take some time for Carlson and his staff to pour through 41,000 hours of video, Democrats are already screaming about McCarthy’s move.
Until now, almost all of the footage made available to the American people was highly edited and framed by Pelosi’s Committee.
Of course, that Committee had only one mission, which was to try and convince Merrick Garland to bring criminal charges against Trump to prevent him from running in 2024.
The Committee ignored and omitted any footage that didn’t help their cause.
But to the Democrats’ chagrin, clips from the collected footage are expected to start airing on Fox News in the coming weeks.
“There was never any legitimate reason for this footage to remain secret”
Former House Select Committee on January 6 Chairman Bennie Thompson (D-MS) said in a statement that “it’s hard to overstate the potential security risks if this material were to be used irresponsibly.”
“If Speaker McCarthy has indeed granted Tucker Carlson — a Fox host who routinely spreads misinformation and Putin’s poisonous propaganda — and his producers access to this sensitive footage, he owes the American people an explanation of why he has done so and what steps he has taken to address the significant security concerns at stake,” he added.
And Congressman Jamie Raskin (D-MD), the former Committee member who actually blamed the U.S. Electoral College for the so-called attack on the Capitol, suggested that previously unreleased footage might provide the basis for “MAGA propaganda.”
But Carlson, who has already accused the Committee of “lying,” told Axios “there was never any legitimate reason for this footage to remain secret, if there was ever a question that’s in the public’s interest to know, it’s what actually happened on January 6. By definition, this video will reveal it.”
And to make matters worse for the Democrats, Carlson has noted that some of the footage he has already viewed “in some ways” contradicts the Committee’s narrative.
It may take some time, but Americans are hopeful that this footage will start the process of finding out the truth about the events of January 6.
