Pete Buttigieg made a public admission that will drive the final nail in his coffin

Feb 21, 2023

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg is among the worst cabinet officials in American history.

Buttigieg got some more bad news.

And that’s because Pete Buttigieg made a public admission that will drive the final nail in his coffin.

On Pete Buttigieg’s watch, the country suffered from a massive supply chain backlog, thousands of flights were canceled due to a software error at Southwest Airlines, and a train carrying toxic chemicals derailed in East Palestine, Ohio.

Even though officials burned the spilt chemicals and created a toxic cloud that experts compared to nuclear winter, Buttigieg did not comment on the disaster for more than ten days.

The Biden administration also refused to provide disaster relief funds to deal with the fallout after Ohio Governor Mike DeWine warned residents within a two-mile radius of the cloud that they risked death by staying in the area.

Critics suspect that the Biden administration is ignoring the disaster because the counties surrounding East Palestine voted 70 percent for Donald Trump.

That suspicion only grew as Buttigieg used an interview with Yahoo Finance to downplay the calamity.

Buttigieg began by trying to pretend he was on top of the situation.

“The most urgent thing right now is to make sure that these residents get the information that they need. They’re concerned, they are frightened, and with good reason. They had their lives upended through no fault of their own, and now want to know if their homes, their neighborhoods, their schools are safe,” Buttigieg began.

But then Buttigieg tried to minimize the disaster by claiming this train derailment was just one of thousands of train derailments.

“Look, rail safety is something that has evolved a lot over the years, but there’s clearly more that needs to be done because while this horrible situation has gotten a particularly high amount of attention, there are roughly 1,000 cases a year of a train derailing,” Buttigieg added.

“Obviously they have levels of severity, but where all of that points us to, is a need to continue to raise the bar on rail safety. And that’s especially true when it comes to a rail that involves hazardous materials. Now, this train was subject to certain enhanced requirements because of hazardous materials on board, but obviously, none of that prevented what happened in East Palestine,” Buttigieg continued.

Republicans finally heard enough.

And Florida Senator Marco Rubio became the first to call on Buttigieg to resign.

Buttigieg’s tenure has been marked by one disaster after another.

The corporate-controlled media protects Buttigieg since they consider him a top-tier Presidential contender in 2024 or 2028.

But based on his performance in office, a growing number of Americans believe Buttigieg has no business anywhere near the Presidency.
