John Durham revealed that the FBI conducted four different investigations into Hillary Clinton that were shut down in the final days of Donald Trump’s Presidency.
These investigations dealt with allegations of influence peddling involving the Clinton Foundation accepting contributions from foreign donors while Hillary Clinton served as Secretary of State.
The New York Times reported:
In August 2016, the three foundation cases were consolidated under the supervision of agents in New York. Agents were authorized to seek subpoenas from the U.S. attorneys’ offices in Manhattan and Brooklyn, but prosecutors declined to issue them. The investigation seemed to go dormant.
Ultimately, the F.B.I. moved the case to Little Rock. In 2017, after prosecutors there requested help, the deputy attorney general’s office said the Justice Department would support the case.
Eventually, prosecutors secured a subpoena for the charity in early 2018 and the F.B.I. detailed personnel to examine donor records. Investigators also interviewed the former chief financial officer for the foundation.
The fact that foreign donations to the Clinton Foundation dried up after Hillary Clinton lost the 2016 Presidential election was a pretty clear sign that foreign governments and donors only funneled money into the Foundation in the hopes that they could buy influence with what everyone expected would be a Hillary Clinton Presidency.
But the Justice Department covered for Hillary Clinton and shut down all four investigations.
The FBI even destroyed all of the evidence and records collected during the long investigation.
“All of the evidence obtained during the course of this investigation has been returned or otherwise destroyed,” the FBI revealed.
The investigations into Clinton were a closely guarded secret, whereas every detail of each witch hunt into Donald Trump immediately leaks into the press.
When Trump and his supporters say there is a two-tiered system of Justice in America, what they mean is that the FBI and DOJ afford Democrats the usual rights of those under suspicion and keep the details of the investigation close to the press.
But when it comes to Donald Trump, the FBI and the Deep State will try the case in the press by smearing the former President with leaks designed to make him look guilty without anything having been proven in a court of law.
